One Man’s Street Is Another Man’s Ice Skating Rink
So we’re supposed to get some snow in Charlotte this weekend. A little snow is fine. A lot of snow can be a problem. And any amount of ice is usually a recipe for disaster. But some people know how to make the best out of a bad situation.
A Michigan man took advantage of the freezing conditions in Muskegon on January 9th, when the temperature dipped to 17 degrees Fahrenheit. Madison Alderink filmed her husband, Jared, skating on their completely iced over street. How perfect is it that the word “rink” is in their last name? Check out Jared on his hockey skates below. It’s fun to watch but let’s hope we don’t experience anything like this in Charlotte.
