You Can Get Paid For Listening To Breakup Songs
If you’re dreading Valentine’s Day because you’re coming off a rough breakup, there may be a silver lining for you. Money.
It’s not easy to mend a broken heart after ending a relationship, but getting paid might help a little. WGN-TV reports that FinanceBuzz is offering a job that pays $1,100 to listen to breakup songs from the likes of Adele and Taylor Swift for 24 hours. Why $1,100? FinanceBuzz says breakups can cause financial strain and $1,100 is their estimate of how much it costs for someone to get their groove back.
The official job title is “DJ of Heartache.” The ideal candidate must listen to all of the songs by February 6th and, after drying their eyes, create five playlists of their own to represent the five stages of grief. You must be a U.S. resident, at least 18-years-old, and apply on FinanceBuzz.com no later than January 31st. Good luck…and you’re going to be fine.
