Costco Shoppers Say This Breakfast Sandwich Is Just Like Starbucks
Since adopting our dog, Daisy, I’ve created a new morning routine for myself. On the days that I take Daisy to doggy daycare, I then swing by Starbucks in Elizabeth for a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich before heading back to the house. The sandwich I usually go for is the Bacon, Gouda & Egg on Ciabatta. Now I’m hearing that Costco has a frozen version of that sandwich for a much lower price.
According to Mashed, Costco shoppers swear that the Grace Gourmet Bacon, Gouda, and Egg Sandwiches taste just like the Starbucks version. The Grace Gourmet alternatives are available at $12.49 for a box of eight 3.7 ounce sandwiches. That comes out to about $1.57 per sandwich, which is less than half the price at Starbucks. Of course, you’ll have to heat it up yourself and call your own name when it’s ready.
Costco members can look for the Grace Gourmet breakfast sandwiches in the store’s frozen food aisle. If your location doesn’t have them in stock, you can request Item Number 1584153. As long as you’re there, you might want to try two of my Costco favorites: their wagon wheel-sized Chicken Pot Pie and Shepherd’s Pie. You’ll be able to keep your family fed for half a week with either of those. Both are in the refrigerated prepared foods section.
