I’ve always been a fan of the “Golden Girls” and it was so sad when Betty White passed away a few weeks ago. She had an awesome life but I hate she didn’t make it to 100 years old. My birthday was earlier this month and a friend of mine just sent me a six-pack of “Golden Girls” socks. I love them!
There’s a new book coming out that will help us pass along our love for our old friends to a whole new generation. “Goodnight Girls,” a children’s book featuring the Golden Girls is coming soon and I can’t wait to read it. I have a few books at home about the “Golden Girls.” The wisdom and humor from that show is timeless!
According to She Knows, the book will be about Dorothy, Blanche, and Rose having a sleepover. The bedtime story will also include Stan, Miles, and of course cheesecake!
The book’s cover brings us back to the home the girls shared, with its tropical wallpaper and crocheted bedspread. It even features the show’s official title font and Dorothy’s signature furrowed brow and Sophia’s wicker purse. Ha! Love it!
