Woman Stabs Heel Through Her Foot Trying To Flee From A Spider

One of my really good friends moved to Australia a few years a go and she loves it! She always invites me to come for a visit, but the wild animals there are too much for me! And apparently they're too much for folks that live there too! A woman in Australia impaled her foot with a high heeled shoe trying to get away from a spider.

According to the New York Post, Alyssa Lambert was trying to get away from a large huntsman spider hanging out on the ceiling of her bedroom. She saw the spider, grabbed some bug killer, and stood on her bed to try and kill the creature. That's when things took a turn for the worse.

Lambert says the spider lunged towards her, and she jumped off her mattress. When she jumped, she landed on a high heel that was on her floor. And I mean LANDED! The heel of the shoe went into her foot. INTO it!

Obviously, she freaked out! Lambert called an ambulance. Once at the hospital, doctor's took an X-ray and saw that the heel had impaled her foot by 4.5cm. And there are not only pictures of the X-ray, but of the actual heel still in her foot! UGH!

Surgery was performed and Lambert is recovering. I bet she NEVER leaves her damn shoes around on her floor again! No word on the spider.
