Just In Time For Valentine’s Day, There’s A Limited-Edition Potato Perfume
“Do you want fries with that?” is usually something we hear at our favorite restaurant. But you can now smell like fries thanks to The Idaho Potato Commission. And just in time for Valentine’s Day!
According to UPI, The Idaho Potato Commission has announced that they’re selling a limited-edition potato perfume. It’s called Frites by Idaho, and it’s made from distilled Idaho potatoes and essential oils. It’s designed to smell like a fresh plate of French fries.
The commission said the $1.89 bottles of the fragrance sold out quickly on the IPC website, but social media users can still enter an Instagram contest to win free bottles. I gotta say that I’m interested in smelling this!
I’m not a huge fan of perfumes or colognes because I have bad allergies. And most folks don’t use the “spray, delay, and walk away” method of applying a fragrance. Too many people just over do it! And don’t get me started on the Axe Body Spray crap. That stuff can be used to kill bugs it’s so strong.
The smell of French fries might be festive though. I wonder if animals would follow you around while smelling like this scent? I think Kramer and Eddy would be all over me! LOL! I also wonder if I’d constantly stay hungry wearing this fragrance. Seriously!
