There were a lot of life lessons to be learned from those characters, especially Wile E. Coyote. Sure, he was constantly being bested by his archnemesis, the Road Runner. But Wile E. Coyote never gave up. He was the model of persistence and is now being rewarded with his own movie.
According to Screen Rant, Warner Bros. has a live-action/CG hybrid film centered on the iconic Looney Tunes character in the works. Based on a 1990 New Yorker story by Ian Frazier, “Coyote vs Acme” is about Wile E. Coyote's frustration with the variety of mail-ordered items he has purchased from the Acme Corporation and subsequent lawsuit. It's being described as part courtroom drama, part family comedy.
Pro wrestler-turned-action hero John Cena has signed on for the project. The star of HBO Max's Peacemaker will be playing the lawyer representing Acme. “Coyote vs Acme” is expected to hit theaters in July of 2023. I'll be there. And if you're wondering whether Wile E. Coyote has a case against Acme, here's a look back at some of his most infamous incidents. Was it product failure or operator error?
HBO Max's newest series, Peacemaker, stars John Cena as the titular character, who believes in peace at any cost… as he noted in The Suicide Squad, “No matter how many people I have to kill to get it!” The rest of the cast includes Danielle Brooks as Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Harcourt, Chukwudi Iwuji as Murn, Steve Agee as Economos and Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith, the Peacemaker’s dad. Here are some shots of them in season one of the show.
Title Sequence
HBO Max'Suicide Squad' director James Gunn said of the unskippable title sequence, “First of all, I want to vanquish the skip-forward button. There’s a lot of people that work hard on the show and I want people to get to see the name of our production designer Lisa, our editors Fred and Greg, and all of our guest stars and actors and I want them to see those names.”

Behind The Choreography
HBO MaxGunn also said of the opening song of Wig Wam’s ‘Do Ya Want To Taste It,’ the basic concept of everyone in the opening credits scene having a serious expression on their faces, while having dance moves that are as “ludicrous as possible” was Gunn’s ultimate goal, which we think he surely achieved.
