Raccoon Crashes Through College Dining Hall Ceiling As Students Eat Dinner
Louisiana State University is the home of the Tigers but that didn’t stop a different animal from inviting itself to dinner. According to UPI, students at an LSU dining hall had a wild surprise Wednesday evening (2/16) when a raccoon came crashing through the ceiling.
Videos posted on social media show the raccoon looking confused and, at one point, trying to get into a backpack. Students can be seen standing on tables and chairs while the four-legged visitor chaotically runs around. A video on TikTok shows a person trying to catch the raccoon with a large plastic trash can.
Animal control officials were eventually called in to safely catch and relocate the dinner crasher. I imagine it might have been hard for students to resume eating their dinners after all of that. Sounds like a Domino’s in the dorm kind of night.
