There’s A Slap Fight World Championship And It Is Insane

Without question, this is one of the most insane things Phil & I have seen. And my ex-husband is a former Strongman that used to pick up cars and deadlift over 1000 lbs., so I've seen some craziness!  Arnold Schwarzenegger and YouTube celebrity Logan Paul are hosting the Slap Fighting Championships next month.

Every year in Columbus, Ohio Schwarzenegger holds the "Arnold Sports Festival" the beginning of March. My ex used to go and my dad has gone too. It's a three day event filled with powerlifting, strongman competitions, fitness competitions, and more. The event pulls in over 20,000 athletes in over 60 sports and events. It's huge!

This year, the Slap Fighting Championship will be a part of the event. According to Variety, the competition will take place on March 5th and fans can watch on Paul's YouTube Channel and Facebook page. Slap Fighting is exactly what it sounds like: two people slapping each other.

Now, when I say two people slapping each other, I should explain that these folks are not normal people. Most of the competitors are huge, weight lifting folks. Watching the video it looks like many of the competitors prepare with strongman training and powerlifting training. One Russian competitor, named "Dumpling", is 6'3, 370 lbs. HUGE guy!

Watching the video below will make you shake your head. These people MUST be a little off to want to do this! It truly is one of the craziest things we've seen! Brace yourself for the below insanity!
