Mom Uses Doorbell System To Get Her Kids’ Attention
Every parent has had to yell across the house to get a child’s attention. It’s either that or walk all the way to wherever they are and ask them to take out the garbage. Both get old pretty quickly. Instead of raising her voice or walking up a flight of stairs, one mom found a better way to get her children’s attention every time.
According to Parents, Arin Solange regularly posts home organization and parenting tips on TikTok. In one post, she explains her cheap and easy fix that keeps her from yelling to get her kids to come downstairs. Arin bought four wireless doorbells and installed the buttons inside a cabinet door in the kitchen. Each one is labeled with one of her kids’ names and the coordinating chimes are in their bedrooms. When she needs a kid, she rings their doorbell and they know to go downstairs.
In the caption for the video below, Arin indicates that the doorbells are available for $15 on Amazon. It’s a good idea, especially for waking kids up on school days. Of course, if my mom had done this, I would have responded like Lurch on “The Addams Family.” You rang?
