I've lived in cities all over the United States. At different times, I have traveled to and from school and work by car, bus, and train. However, I've never had to catch a ride on a mode of transportation that was still moving.
Commuting to work looks a little different in Antarctica. I'm not exactly sure what the person in the video below does for a living? Shipmate? Research scientist? In any case, ride sharing on the tundra demands really good timing. Watch how it's done:
