What color do you usually wear on St. Patrick’s Day? Green. And what color are the backdrops used by portrait photographers? Green! Put the two together and you get some pretty interesting school pictures. It’s also why one Indiana school is wishing they had scheduled picture day on any other day besides St. Patrick’s Day.
According to WTHR-TV, the mother of one child attending Sugar Grove Elementary School in Center Grove said her son’s full green attire created one hilarious photo. Amanda Snow’s son completely blended into the background on the green screen, from the top of his green hoodie, to his lime green shorts, all the way to his green mohawk. You can see video HERE.
Amanda wasn’t the only mom to have a similar set of proofs and she found that out after posting her son’s photos in a local moms’ Facebook group! Snow said, “Honestly, I just couldn’t wait to see other parents’ pictures, and it ended up being a hilarious fiasco. Just because it’s so funny.”
The school says the photos are still in the post-production process, and these images won’t be the final product. If it were my kid, I’d want to keep the disembodied head shots along with the corrected ones.
When #SchoolPictureDay is also #StPatricksDay: hilarious green screen photo proofs parents received from their students that attend Sugar Grove Elementary School in @center_grove. Company says proofs will be fixed. But many parents are enjoying the silly shots. 6:15 pm @WTHRcom pic.twitter.com/O9jUzplE38— Rich Nye (@RichNye13) March 23, 2022
