Even as a grown-up, there's just something about a new box of crayons. I guess it's just so nostalgic. An interactive Crayola exhibit that'll be fun for the whole family is coming to Charlotte in May.

According to AXIOS Charlotte, Charlotte will be the second stop for the worldwide traveling tour, and it will be at Camp North End's Ford Building starting May 13. The exhibit will be in town until September so you'll have plenty of time to check it out.

The 17,000 square-foot exhibit space will have two main areas for visitors to check out. In the IDEA Workshop, visitors can pitch product ideas and come up with creative solutions. The Colorverse area is where guests can do anything from co-hosting a broadcast from space to creating a digital piece of clothing.

I'll say this, the exhibit is colorful! Looking at the pictures makes me wanna go! RFID wristbands will be used to create a customized summary of guests' interactions throughout the exhibit. If you're interested in going, tickets are $25 and can be purchased on Crayola's website.
