Mattie’s Diner Makes It’s Return To Charlotte Food Scene This Week!

Finally, some good news to start your Monday with. A favorite Charlotte restaurant is re-opening after a long 6 years- Mattie’s Diner! Do you remember the one that used to be across from the Music Factory? That tasted so good after a show at The Fillmore? That’s the one!

Today, Mattie’s Diner new location opens at 3100 The Plaza in Charlotte. But don’t worry the same building is there, along with some additional seating and outdoor space.

When the restaurant closed its doors for the AvidXchange construction they said they would be back, and that day is finally here. The menu will still feature favorite items such as milkshakes, breakfast (all day of course) fried hot dogs, meatloaf, and your classic diner favorites. Expect the menu to feature some new editions as well including vegan options.

Mattie’s Diner will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
