Magic Johnson was on “The View” when he talked about how Dr. Fauci helped him better understand his HIV diagnosis. Magic said he leaned on Dr. Fauci because he Fauci knew the science of HIV and how he could get better and learn to live through it. Magic said he is living proof that someone with HIV can live a long and productive life. Magic Johnson was diagnosed with HIV in 1991. His diagnosis eventually led to his retirement from the Lakers.
