Gwen Stefani took to her Instagram yesterday (5/26) to wish her oldest son Kingston a happy 16th birthday sharing a throwback picture of them together.

Gwen captioned the image, "I can't believe that I'm actually writing this, but.... a very happy 16th birthday to my firstborn baby boy @kingsrossdale_ I prayed and I waited my whole life to be a mommy- I'm so blessed that God chose me to be yours - you r so loved, and we can't wait to see what happens next!! got a feeling it's gonna be good!! love u mom (gx)."

Stefani's husband Blake Shelton said of her sons during an interview at CRS after he and Gwen were married, "I didn't know what I was signing up for, but I was all about signing up for it. And every day, I fall in love with the boys as much as I do with Gwen."

Shelton also bragged about his wife's close relationship with her family. He offered, "She really leans into the Italian part of her blood, and that comes with lots and lots, and lots of family gatherings and lots of food. She loves it, and she's been great for my family, my sister and her family, and my mom and my stepdad. She's got her arms around all of them, and I never experienced that with anybody really because that's a lot to take on, and family's first for Gwen."
