Still considered by many to be television’s all-time funniest comedian, Carol Burnett is set to guest star on the sixth and final season of AMC’s hit drama Better Call Saul. Variety reports that it’s not yet clear how Burnett will fit into the story, but she’ll be playing a character named ‘Marion.’

This won’t be the first time Carol Burnett has appeared in a dramatic vehicle. The six-time Emmy Award winner has had roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Hawaii Five-O, and All My Children, as well as the films Friendly Fire and Life of The Party: The Story of Beatrice.

Fans of Better Call Saul are also looking forward to the second half of Season 6 for another reason. As previously announced, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will be reprising their Breaking Bad roles of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, respectively. I can’t wait to see how creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould tie the two series together.

As for Carol Burnett, the beloved actress says that she’s excited to take part in her favorite show. The final six episodes of Better Call Saul begin on Monday, July 11, on AMC and AMC+ with the series finale set for August 15.
