TV Meteorologist Has Hilarious ‘Aha Moment’ Live On Air
Every new job comes with a learning curve. That’s what on-boarding is for. Even years into a job, most of us will need to learn new things, such as different software applications and updated technology. That’s if management does everything the way they should. But it doesn’t always work out that way.
TV meteorologist Greg Dutra of ABC7 in Chicago recently discovered that he had been provided with a new tool for his job. The thing is, he discovered it while he was on the air during a live news broadcast. Watch below as Dutra hilariously stumbles upon all the cool things his new video monitor can do.
This wasn’t in the training manual! @TBrownABC7 @valwarnertv and I go OFF THE RAILS when I discovered the TV is a touch screen while on-air on @ABC7Chicago 😂 pic.twitter.com/almrdxqz3d

It’s nice that management spent the money on the latest technology so that Greg Dutra could give the Chicago viewing audience the most accurate and dependable weather information possible. It also would have been nice if management had told Greg about it before he went on the air. Surely that monitor came with a manual, right?
