The Self-Care Habits Of Successful Entrepreneurs
Most of us are living through the most stressful time in our lives. Between the pandemic and politics, it’s a wonder any of us are able to go to work and be productive. What are you doing to take care of yourself these days?
Self-care is very important and, thankfully, more employers are recognizing and respecting the needs of the people who work for them. But old habits die hard and too many of us continue to neglect our own basic needs. Who better to learn self-care habits from than successful entrepreneurs?
According to Entrepreneur.com, there are five self-care habits worth developing, and they don’t only apply to those who run their own companies. Aren’t we all in business for ourselves in a way? Here’s the list:
- Nourish your body with good fuel. Eat a balanced diet.
- Make sleep a priority. Entrepreneurs (and a lot of us) tend to get into a cycle of working around the clock without sleeping or eating enough.
- Set business boundaries. Have business hours.
- Take regular breaks.
- Outsource tasks. A large part of self-care is knowing your limits and knowing what you are good at and when to delegate.
