Lipton Iced Tea Is Going Boozy

Sweet tea is a staple in the South, and for years Lipton Tea has been the go-to brand when making it. Over the last few years, many other brands have flooded the tea market. And the same is true for hard iced teas. There are lots of boozy teas to choose from and now there's one more. Lipton is getting into the alcohol game.

Lipton Hard Iced Tea is expected to come out in early 2023, just in time for summer. According to Delish, the new drink is currently under development. Lipton plans to have four fruity flavors available: Lemon, Half and Half, Peach, and Strawberry. Personally, I think some of the fruity flavored drinks are too sweet, but I'd definitely try the lemon.

The drink will only have an ABV of 5 percent, so it won't pack too much of a punch. Still, it sounds like a refreshing cocktail to sip while on the patio, the beach, or by the pool. Look for the new tasty tea in 2023.
