‘Dirty Dancing In Concert’ Is Coming To North Carolina
Thirty-five years after it was first released in theaters, Dirty Dancing continues to resonate with audiences. People simply love the story of Baby trying to hang on to her youth for one last summer and finding forbidden romance with Johnny in the process. And then there are the songs that fans still love to sing.
If you’re one of those fans, you can experience Dirty Dancing in a whole new way with “Dirty Dancing in Concert.” This touring production features a screening of the 1987 movie accompanied by a live band and singers performing the soundtrack. And, of course, you’ll be invited to sing along.
Tickets for “Dirty Dancing in Concert” start at $40 and the tour is making three stops in North Carolina. Since much of the movie was filmed at Lake Lure, it only seems right.
