Chick-fil-A, Wendy’s Both Roll Out Peppermint Desserts
Peppermint is popping this holiday season. Chick-fil-A is bringing back it’s fan favorite seasonal Peppermint Chip Milkshake. According to ChewBoom, the holiday treat will return on November 14th along with the fast food chain’s chicken tortilla soup.
The shake is hand-spun and features chips of peppermint bark topped off with whipped cream and a cherry, although the whipped cream and cherry are not available when ordered for delivery. The soup features shredded chicken breast with navy and black beans in a white creamy soup base with a blend of vegetables and spicy heat, topped off with seasoned corn tortilla strips.

Wendy’s has also hopped on board the peppermint train. The company is officially launching the 2022 holiday season with the long-awaited new Peppermint Frosty. The treat features the brand’s signature vanilla Frosty with a festive peppermint flavoring. [Side note: Why not bring vanilla back permanently, too?]
Food & Wine reports that Wendy’s has stopped serving this past summer’s Strawberry Frosty to make room for the holiday treat. You can get a Peppermint Frosty at participating Wendy’s locations nationwide for a limited time. I’m not so sure fries dipped in peppermint will be as good as dipping them in vanilla or chocolate.
Wendy's doesn't introduce new flavors of this iconic treat very often. https://t.co/6vlFPqiIaR
