Santa Claus Is Coming To Southpark Mall
Santa Claus isn’t coming to town, he’s already here! Santa and his sleigh have arrived at SouthPark Mall and you and your family can go see him.
According to WCNC, Santa will be at SouthPark through Christmas Eve for photos. Santa’s helpers suggest making an appointment ahead of time, which will help skip the line when it’s time to meet the big man. The Santa photo experience will be open daily through December 24.
It’s not just kids that can see Santa, pets can see him too! In partnership with CMPD Animal Care and Control, SouthPark will host pet pics with Santa on Sunday, December 11. I have a picture of Kramer with Santa. AND I have a pic of him dressed as an elf. It’s THE best! He looks so cute dressed up!
Santa will also be hosting a special breakfast. On November 19, Santa will join the kids and tell a holiday story. The event is free, but you must make reservations. There will also be some other festive activities for the kids.
December 4, children with special needs and their families can visit Caring Santa. This is a private photo experience in partnership with Autism Speaks. It’s designed for kids and young adults who require a more sensory-friendly environment. Pictures with Santa will be available, but reservations are required.
If you’d like to help others this holiday season, The Salvation Army Angel Tree, a program where donors can pick an angel. The Angel Tree is near the food court in the mall, and you can choose an angel from Nov. 18 through Dec. 5.
Since I grew up Jewish, I never went to see Santa. I may have to take Kramer, so he and I can get a photo. Eddy is a bit skittish and I’m not sure she’d like the fat man!
