Where To Find The Best Turkey Prices In Charlotte
All of know inflation has caused food prices to go up everywhere. And with Thanksgiving next week, all of us want to get the best deal for the food we’ll need. WCNC is helping us out by giving us the best prices for turkey and the fixings at stores in and around Charlotte. Score! We all gotta save loot where we can.
According to WCNC, Food Lion and Harris Teeter have the best prices on turkeys. Both stores have them as low as 29 cents a pound. BUT, at Food Lion you must spend an additional $35 with your MVP card. At Harris Teeter you must spend an additional $40 with your VIC card.
If you’re looking for the turkey only, Publix is the place to go. The store is offering frozen turkeys 10-24 pounds for just 39 cents a pound. This deal is good through November 23, so you have a few days to snag the deal.
If you’re like me, stuffing is a must for Thanksgiving. It’s my favorite part of the meal! Walmart has the cheapest Stove Top Stuffing at $1.98 a box. Personally, I like using Pepperidge Farm. I have a great stuffing recipe that I got from my best friend’s dad. I make it every year. Walmart has it for $2.48 and it’s 2 for $5 at Food Lion.
WCNC says that green beans, pumpkin pie, and cranberry sauce are about the same at all the stores, so it’s probably just easier to pick it all up wherever you get your turkey. You can read more and see all the prices around are area here.
