The Best Holiday-Decorated Apartment Ever Is In New York And It’s Stunning
Now this guy really LOVES Christmas! There’s a guy in New York that decorates his apartment every year for the holidays, and you’ve never seen anything like it! It is absolutely gorgeous!
Frank Bianco has been decorating his home for the holidays since he was 18 years old, but in the past 15 years it’s become an obsession. And these aren’t decorations you throw up after Thanksgiving. This takes time!
According to @newyorknico on Instagram, Bianco spends over 200 hours putting up over 13,000 lights in his one-bedroom apartment. And they stay up until April. Once you see the decor, you’ll get why they stay up so long.
Even though I have lots of tattoos, I’ll admit that when I first saw Bianco, I didn’t see ‘Christmas’. It’s a stereotype, but you wouldn’t expect a heavily tattooed guy to be all about Christmas. But he is! Bianco has 47 snowflake tattoos, and almost a dozen other Christmas related tattoos. He has a giant Santa Claus tattooed on his back and the word Christmas is also tattooed there. I love it!
And for those wondering, his favorite Christmas song is “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and his favorite movie is the original “Miracle on 34th Street” because that’s when Kris Kringle said “Christmas is not a day, it’s a frame of mind.”
After watching the video a few times, it’s hard to pick out my favorite part of his apartment. It’s just so sparkly and pretty! I really like the peppermint table in his kitchen. So cute! And I love the energy of his place. It just screams happy! I’d leave this decor up year-round if I were him.
