This is not the most traditional wedding, but it's cool! A couple decided that exchanging rings wasn't going to be their style, so they exchanged something else; guitars!

According to the New York Post, Madi Danger (wonder if that's her real name) and Jay Aspen are both big heavy metal fans. They wanted to make their wedding as rockin' as they could so they exchanged electric guitars at the ceremony.

The couple, who dated for nine years before tying the knot, were married in an Idaho Falls Methodist Church. They didn't tell anyone what they were planning prior to the wedding. I'm sure their families were a bit surprised but I'm guessing not totally shocked.

After the two were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Aspen, they left the ceremony in a retro-black hearse with 'Just Married' written on the back window.

Just by looking at the bride's white makeup, my guess is they're more into death metal and some goth metal. It's funny though, I would have thought the bride would have worn a different type of dress. The dress Danger wore was quite traditional. Retro, but traditional.

Being a metal chick, I would love a rock wedding! Mine would lean more 80's metal though. Of course, I'm a bit older than the happy couple in this story. They DID walk down the aisle to Ozzy's 'Mr. Crowley' so that's kick ass!

The video of the couple exchanging guitars is going viral, and you can check it out below. I say rock on! It's their day and they did what they wanted to do!
