You Can Name a Cockroach After Your Ex for Valentine’s Day
I know, the title is throwing you off. But, think about it. Valentine’s Day for singles can be somewhat interesting especially if you recently ended things with someone. An ex is beyond annoying sometimes and you may want to really let it all out. This year, you can actually name a cockroach after an ex for Valentine’s Day. How does that sound?
CBS News says that the San Antonio Zoo allows people to name a cockroach after an ex for the Valentine’s Day holiday. This is the zoo’s annual tradition for Valentine’s Day. The event helps raise funds to support the zoo’s “vision of securing a future for wildlife in Texas and around the world.” You can donate anywhere between $5 and $25 and get the chance to name a cockroach after your ex-partner and receive a digital Valentine’s Day card. Your ex will then receive a digital card to know a cockroach has been named after them.
If you would like to symbolically name a rodent or veggie after their ex as well. How about that? But, it gets even better. The Bronx Zoo also has a name-a-roach program where you can send your ex a tote bag or tumbler with a cockroach image to let them know the roaches’ new name. How wild could things get on Valentine’s Day with this kind of celebration? Tons of other zoos across the country also partake in this. If you can’t find a zoo near you, then why not do it yourself? Find a roach image online and get to name a cockroach after your ex.
Roses are red; violets are blue… Is there someone in your life that’s bugging you? Give them goosebumps by naming a cockroach in their honour this Valentine's Day ❤️
