Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul Bring Back ‘Breaking Bad’ Characters For Snack Commercial
In January, we got the tease. Now we’re getting the rest of the story. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have reprised their Breaking Bad characters, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, respectively, for an upcoming Super Bowl snack commercial. The ad for PopCorners actually dropped on Monday (2/6) and Breaking Bad fans are loving it.
The sixty-second spot called “Breaking Good” features Walter and Jesse in full character “cooking up” the snacks. They even brought their old friend Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz) in on the fun. The ad will air during the Super Bowl this Sunday (2/12), but you might as well watch it below.
In case you’re wondering if this ad might be a sign of some additional Breaking Bad content to come in the future, don’t get your hopes up. According to People, Aaron Paul says this is it for the characters. “I feel like this is sort of where we all kind of hang our hats, at least with the ‘Breaking Bad’ universe,” he says. “And what a fun way to go out.” Indeed.
