Summer will be here before you know it and if you’re looking for unique summer camp ideas for your kids, this is a cool one! There’s a summer camp in Huntersville that lets your child rock out some ninja skills.

According to The Charlotte Observer,  Ninja Nation gives your child a chance to unleash their inner ninja skills. Ninja is a growing sport across the country, and kids at this cool camp in Huntersville can learn lots of different skills. There’s a zipline, monkey bars, a climbing wall and more. And one of the best parts about the camp is that every child gets their own ‘official’ ninja name. Love it!

Ninja Nation opened in 2021 with classes year-round, and the gym’s summer ninja camp offers kids a chance to experience the sport from a professional coaching staff.  Daily kids will be participating in ninja activities, classes and skill sessions. There are competitions, games, and open gym time, and kids will be split into age groups.

Assistant manager Bailey Gilmore says some kids love the camp so much that they’ve returned as Ninja Nation team members for worldwide competitions. How cool! As fun as Ninja Nation sounds, there are some hazards. Kids are moving their bodies in new ways, so the camp has multiple safety measures.

Kids ages 5-12 can sign up for Ninja Camp. Lunch and snacks are provided however campers can also bring their own lunch. Weekly summer sessions are offered between June 12- Aug. 21 and the cost is $385 per week. Kids can be dropped off between 8:30-9 a.m. and picked up between 3-3:30 p.m. Extended pick-up is available until 4:30 p.m.

If your child is interested in the camp, this is what a typical day looks like at Ninja Camp:
