That might be a little far from our Maney & LauRen studio, but we need to check it out. LauRen and I have a love/hate relationship with donuts. Not only are they just delicious in their own right but they pair so perfectly with mornings and coffee. Anytime Maney’s son, Dean, comes to visit in-studio they always stop on their way in and get a dozen donuts for all of us. This sounds amazing but when you’re trying to lose weight…ahhh! Like I said, it’s definitely a love/hate relationship. We always get Dunkin’ here in-studio, and growing up in Raleigh, NC and going to N.C. State, I have actually ran in the Krispy Kreme 5k numerous times. If you live in North Carolina and don’t know what that is…I highly suggest you put it on your North Carolina bucket list! So needless to say, the two top donut chains get a lot from us. Just like anything else, though, there are local, family-owned donut businesses all over.
