Over the weekend, Charlotte celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a parade and a bar crawl uptown. If you didn't get enough green beer or Jameson's Whiskey, the town of Belmont, North Carolina is planning a big St. Patrick's Day celebration this weekend.

St. Patrick's Day is Friday, so many people will be celebrating this weekend. If you're looking for local fun, check out Belmont. The Belmont Main Street/Downtown Belmont Development Assoc. posted the schedule of activities set to take place this weekend on their Facebook page. Belmont is the perfect town for St. Patrick's Day bar hopping as you can walk to every establishment in town.

If you've never been to downtown Belmont, it's adorable! Lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping within three or four blocks. It's a great place to bar hop as you can walk from place to place. Uber to downtown Belmont, have a good time, and Uber home! The town has numerous activities planned for this weekend to celebrate St. Pat's so you can party all weekend.

In addition to the spots listed above, you can also grab drinks and great food at Old Stone Steakhouse, Honeycomb Cocktails, and the String Bean. The String Bean has great food as does Nellie's. Usually, Sammy's Pub offers traditional Irish food for St. Pat's so if you are craving corned beef and cabbage, check em out.
If you decide to check out Belmont this weekend, I'm sure you'll have a blast. It's such a cute town and it has so many new establishments. Please make sure you have a safe ride home if you drink. Enjoy all the green cocktails but be responsible.
