Family Refuses $50 Million For Their Property And The End Result Is Wild
I understand that you can’t put a price tag on everything, however, I’d be all about this loot! A family in Australia refused to sell their home for $50 million, and the end result is hilarious. Their home looks like a park in the middle of the new homes built around their property.
According to Yahoo, The Zammits’ land is 5 acres, and it’s situated at The Ponds, which is about a 40-minute drive to Sydney, Australia. For years, the family has been refusing to sell to numerous developers. With the land all around them selling, their plot of land now looks odd with rows of two-story homes around it.
The before and after pictures are amazing! You see the Zammit’s land, surrounded by lush grass, with only a few homes near it. Now, their home and their land sits in the middle of a new home development. When you see the aerial views, it’ll blow your mind! The now picture makes it look like their home is in the middle of a parking lot.
Diane Zammit, the mother of the family, told the Daily Mail Australia that the neighborhood used to be farmland with little homes and cottages around it when her family moved in 17 years ago. Now it’s a sprawling new development.
In a way it’s cool that the family refuses to sell. We see the insane amount of construction in Charlotte and the surrounding area and it’s too much! Rarely can you see gorgeous plots of land anymore. And it’s a boot for all the wild animals as we continue to cut down and plow through their homes. Buzzkill. I know, growth is good although too much is overwhelming.
