Odd New Cocktail Becoming Popular And The Ingredients Will Blow Your Mind
When it comes to cocktails, there are a multitude of different types, and many people are particular about their favorites. I cannot imagine that anyone is showing favoritism towards this new drink. I’m a huge fan of a very, very dirty martini. And a yummy chocolate martini once in a while is fabulous, however a coffee and cheese martini? No! No!
According to Spoon University, The Parmesan Espresso Martini is gaining popularity. Why? That’s my first question. Just why? Hoda Kotb tried the cocktail on ‘The Today Show’ and said, ‘Nope’. Co-host Jenna Bush Hager tried it as well and said, ‘It’s like chocolate milk with curds on top.’ Her description makes me want to hurl.
The Espresso Martini has been around for years, and in 2022, it was one of the top 10 drinks people were ordering at bars and restaurants. You can even purchase the popular cocktail in cans now. It’s a tasty drink and I think it’s great after a meal. It’s like a boozy dessert.
The Parmesan Espresso Martini consists of espresso, coffee liqueur, and vodka, topped off with a heap of grated parmesan cheese. CHEESE in a drink! Personally, I think it looks gross and I find it offensive to ruin good coffee and vodka in this manner. The folks that are working to produce high quality parmesan cheese must be appalled at this drink monstrosity.
The creator of the original, now viral, Parmesan Espresso Martini video on TikTok is @highproofpreacher and he says it’s ‘kinda awesome’. He’s not the creator of the drink. He says a bartender friend of his recommended the cocktail.
