Donate Blood And You Could Win A Backyard Theater Package
The American Red Cross needs blood. They have a critical deficit in blood and platelet donations, which is something that happens every year around this time. Donations slow down and demand goes up during the summer months. The shortfall in donations last month is a real cause for concern. So to encourage people to roll up their sleeves, the American Red Cross has announced that they’re giving donors a chance to win a backyard theater package.
People who donate blood or platelets during the month of June will be able to receive a $10 gift card via email to a store of their choice. They will also be registered to score the backyard theater package. It includes a laser wireless projector and screen, projector tripod, smokeless fire pit, Adirondack chair set with four chairs and two tables, and a movie night snack package. Everything you need for a perfect outdoor movie night this summer!
Donating platelets takes a couple of hours, but the American Red Cross has plenty of movies on hand to help you pass the time. Blood donations usually only take about 30 minutes.
