Farm’s ‘Barbie’ Corn Maze Opening In Fall Will Leave You Tickled Pink
Corn maze season is upon us and, if you’ve ever been to one, you know there’s usually a theme. This year, it seems pretty obvious what the theme of anything will be: Barbie. What? Did you think it was going to be Oppenheimer?
Among so many other things, the current Barbie craze has spawned a massive 10-acre Barbie corn maze. No, it’s not in Iowa. You’ll only have to travel as far as central New Jersey to check it out. According to TimeOut, the maze is located at Happy Day Farm in the town of Manalapan. The farm already has a pink Barbie tractor, pink lounge chairs, and life-size Barbie and Ken doll boxes in a sunflower field for your picture posing pleasure. This place is seriously Instagrammable.
The 10-acre Barbie-themed corn maze will be unveiled at Happy Day Farm’s Fall Festival, which begins on September 9th. Guests will get maps to navigate the maze. There are two ways out. The Happy Day folks say the short path will take 15 to 25 minutes, depending on how many selfies you take along the way. The longer route can take up to an hour.
The Barbie corn maze will be open through October 30th. For the record, the maze was cut months before Greta Gerwig’s movie became a billion dollar box office hit. Whoever mowed the maze into shape did an amazing job. The detail is extraordinary. You can see what it looks like below.
