Ye Olde Side Hustle Awaits At The 2023 Carolina Renaissance Festival Job Fair

The heat is still brutal but the cooler weather of fall is right around the corner and so is the Carolina Renaissance Festival. That means it’s time to find what they call “the best side hustle in history.” After all, it takes a lot of people to put on the biggest costume party of the year.

The Carolina Renaissance Festival is celebrating “30 Years of Cheers” every Saturday and Sunday from September 30th to November 19th. There are a few changes this year. The Festival will be selling date-specific tickets in limited quantities to help control the traffic and crowds. You’ll only be able to buy them on the Festival website while supplies last. The Festival also has a new opening time of 9:30 AM. But back to the jobs.

Every year, the Festival hires 350 seasonal employees to sell concessions, greet guests, and more. Just think, you could be selling giant turkey legs and flagons of ale! The easiest way to get hired is by applying in person at the upcoming job fair…I mean, faire…on Saturday, September 9th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM at the Festival grounds in Huntersville.

According to their media release, the Carolina Renaissance Festival is offering competitive seasonal hourly wages of $14-$16 per hour plus free Festival admission to share with friends and family. Resumes are appreciated but not required for most positions.
