Photo by Christopher Furlong/Getty ImagesAs the days have started getting shorter, Starbucks fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of their beloved PSL. Never mind the temperature outside, fall has arrived at Starbucks. At least on the menu, anyway. It's finally here. The classic... the iconic... the O.G.... the Pumpkin Spice Latte is back at Starbucks as of today (8/24). As always, you can get it hot, iced, or blended. UGG boots not included.
At the risk of making you feel old, this year marks the 20th anniversary of Starbucks' famous fall drink. Espresso, steamed milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and a topping of whipped cream. So simple, yet so satisfying. According to Popsugar, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is joined on Starbucks' 2023 fall menu by some returning favorites, as well as some a couple of new beverages.
Starbucks 2023 Fall Menu
- Pumpkin Spice Latte - Served hot, iced, or blended, this icon is made with espresso, steamed milk, and the flavor combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Then it’s topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spices.
- Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte - This new drink was inspired by a popular customer and barista customization, according to Starbucks. It combines a chai tea latte with pumpkin cream cold foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice.
- Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso - Another new item, this one combines Starbucks Blonde Espresso with “touches of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar.” It’s shaken and topped with oatmilk.
- Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew - Back again for the fifth year, this fan-favorite is Starbucks Cold Brew sweetened with vanilla syrup and topped with pumpkin cream cold foam, along with a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.
- Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato - It first appeared on menus in 2021 and it’s back again this year. This espresso beverage features layers of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar, along with a spiced apple drizzle. It’s available hot, iced, or blended.
The bakery case has a new addition as well. The new Baked Apple Croissant is made with layers of croissant dough wrapped around a warm apple filling and topped with sugar before baking. Yes, please. Also available this fall are the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, Owl Cake Pop, and the Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf.
But wait, there's more! Today reports that Starbucks Reserve locations are also offering some new menu items. You can try the elevated Starbucks Reserve Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Whiskey Barrel-Aged Iced Latte, and Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini. New bakery items include the Pumpkin Maritozzo (Italian cream bun) and Pumpkin Spice Cake.
