Halloween Decorations So Real Looking, Firefighters Were Called And I See Why
Lots of folks have their Halloween decorations out, even though it’s only October 3. I think because it was so hot this summer, lots of us are willing fall and cooler weather but busting out the Halloween décor a bit early. I’m one of those people! I go with cutesy/festive décor, but around the corner from me at my apartment complex, folks go all out spooky and scary. The entire hallway is clown and gore décor. It’s so scary my dogs freak going down the hall. LOL! Some folks in New York went scary and their decorations are so real looking that the fire department was called.
According to Yahoo, a homeowner’s decorations in Glens Falls, New York was so life-like that the Glens Falls Fire Department was called. A video of the decorations is going viral, showing what appears to be a home engulfed by flames. 911 was called by a passerby, so the fire department responded.
Now This Is Halloween Scary At Its Best
In the video you see flames dancing in the windows, looking like the house was on fire. According to the fire department, the homeowner’s display is made from a fog machine, two LED lights, a box fan, and a silver sheet. It’s so real looking!
On the Glens Falls Fire Department’s Facebook page, ‘To our surprise this was an amazing Halloween decoration. This display will be up Friday and Saturday nights for the public’s entertainment til the end of the month.’
After seeing the department’s post, lots of folks had comments. Many were praising the creativity of the décor, while some folks thought it was too much. Now that the fire department knows the flames are just for Halloween, they’re good to go. I’m sure the homeowner didn’t think their scary fire decorations would look so life like. I must say that the folks that did this are crazy crafty! It looks so real! See the video for yourself.
