Over 1,800 Pieces Of Rare Movie And TV Memorabilia Hitting Auction Block
If you’re a Hollywood history buff, or simply a fan of movies and TV, you may want to dig out your passport and buy a plane ticket. Over 1,800 pieces of rare film and television memorabilia will be hitting the auction block this fall. Propstore’s latest live and online Entertainment Memorabilia Auction is set for November 9-12 in London, England. The collection is expected to pull in more than $13.8 million.
Some of the items going up for bid include Indiana Jones’ (Harrison Ford) iconic bullwhip, Jack Dawson’s (Leonardo DiCaprio) Titanic costume, and James Bond’s (Daniel Craig) tuxedo from No Time to Die. The auction will also feature one-of-a-kind collection, costume, and prop pieces from Batman, Forrest Gump, The Godfather, The Hunger Games, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Peaky Blinders, and more. You can see many of the items in Propstore’s online gallery.
This is the Droid you’re looking for…
Perhaps the highlight of the auction is C-3PO’s head from 1977’s Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope. What sci-fi fan wouldn’t want that? Anthony Daniels, who played the iconic droid in 11 Star Wars films, says: “I’m thrilled that Propstore has agreed to curate my collection and I trust that the pieces will go into the right hands. I hope this can bring pleasure to Star Wars fans and collectors all around the world and give them a chance to own a piece of the real thing.”
Registration for the live auction is now open. However, if you can’t make it to London in November, you’ll be able to bid online or by phone from anywhere in the world during the live stream.
