If you are planning on flying somewhere for Thanksgiving or Christmas and have a habit of overpacking, a woman in Alabama may have the travel hack to help you. According to MSN, this 'BBL' hack may be able to save you some cash.

Shewana McGee is sharing the smart way she came up with for avoiding pricey baggage fees. Her video on TikTok is going viral and if you're an over packer, like I am, you need to see this. She's hiding extra stuff by creating the illusion that she's had a Brazilian butt lift, or BBL.

McGee created the illusion by putting a large backpack on top of her behind. The bag stays in place because she's wearing it underneath tight leggings. She then conceals it by tying a denim jacket around her waist. Looking at her, it just looks like she has a very round behind.

Text overlay on the post on TikTok gave context to the booty-enhancing quick fix: 'When you're flying Frontier and they say your personal bag is too big.' With her 'BBL' hack, she ended up saving $60. Sweet!

Will This Work For Everyone

Looking at the pictures and video, I'm not sure this would work for everyone. You have to do this after going through the TSA security check point. I'm guessing that the airline staff won't be asking to see your behind, so this could work for some folks. In addition to her original video, McGee has a follow-up video, showing the size of the backpack.

Since she's shared the initial TikTok video, the post has racked up nearly one million views and more than 100,000 likes. Folks commenting are loving her saving money solution. One person says, 'I'm hollering! I bet they didn't even question it'. McGee says, 'Nope!'

I'm guessing that once you go through security, an airline may have a lawsuit on their hands if an an employee asked to see or check someone's backside.  Flying is expensive enough, and when they try to tack on extra fees, it gets crazy pricey! Once I was flying to Miami, and my bag was too heavy. I ended up taking out some heavy boots, putting them on, and carrying my sneakers in my purse. I ain't paying an extra $50 for a heavy bag!

If you're going somewhere for the holidays, you may want to give the 'big booty hack' a try. You can see exactly how McGee did it here. Good luck!

The Top 5 Travel Destinations For Americans In 2024

Americans have big travel plans for the coming year. Have you already come up with your bucket list of travel destinations? According to SWNS Digital, a new survey indicates that 37% of Americans are hoping to become “experienced travelers” in 2024. The research also finds that, on average, Americans are planning to visit four different destinations next year.

Over half (51%) of survey respondents want relaxed vacations, 43% prioritize cultural exploration, and 38% hope to visit historical sites. The most important factors to travelers when choosing a new destination include natural beauty and landscape (58%) and historical attractions (50%).

I thought this was interesting. Nearly half (44%) of those polled say TV shows influence their travel plans. For example, Emily in Paris has been inspiring people to buy plane tickets to France. HBO's The White Lotus, which has been set in Hawaii (Season 1) and Sicily (Season 2), is also playing a role how people are making decisions for trips. The third season of The White Lotus will take place in Thailand, so that could be a hot destination in the near future.

So where exactly will Americans be traveling next year? A quarter of the respondents say they want to explore new and unfamiliar places, while 23% prefer going to places with which they’re already familiar. The survey reveals the twelve most popular countries, which you can see HERE.

From the dream-like architecture in Barcelona to the sun-kissed olive groves of Andalusia, a visit to Spain is like traveling through a dream. Making a pilgrimage along El Camino de Santiago is one of the many reasons people from all over the world make their way to Spain.

2. Canada

It might not be the most exotic destination, but America's neighbor to the north has a lot to offer. You can enjoy coastal experiences in British Columbia to the west and the Maritime provinces in the east. In between, you'll find fascinating history and French culture in Quebec, the wide open prairies of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and the western wilds of Alberta. Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver each offer their own unique urban experiences.

1. Can You Guess?

According to the survey, Americans are very interested in traveling to another nearby neighbor in 2024. They could be going there to explore Aztec history or simply luxuriate at one of its many beach resorts. The fact that every day is "Taco Tuesday" doesn't hurt either. I'm sure you've figured it out, but you can see the full list HERE.
