Broncos Fans Tell Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to ‘Shake It Off’
The Denver Broncos happened to surprise the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday (Oct. 29), picking up a huge win. How significant was this win? Well, it marked their first win against the divisional rivals in 17 games. So, they decided to have some fun with it. Broncos fans told Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to “Shake it Off” after the game in a funny manner.
The Broncos were super happy with the upset win, so this was their creative way of celebrating. After the game, the audio system was blasting the hit Taylor Swift track “Shake it Off” as fans moved and grooved to the music. Broncos fans were cheering, while Denver’s cheerleaders were on the field dancing to the Swift song following the 24-9 win. Check out footage below. It’s pretty funny to see fans troll Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift music.

Swift was reportedly not at the game, because she’s getting ready to go back out on tour for her Eras Tour, which resumes on Nov. 9 in Argentina. But, even though she wasn’t there, fans could enjoy the “Shake it Off” sounds in the stadium. Meanwhile, Kelce did fine during the game. He’s often thought to perform better when Swift is at the games. He caught six receptions for 58 yards. While impressive, that’s a bit low for him, as it just marked the second time this season he clocked less than 60 yards.
Sunday was the Broncos’ first win against the Chiefs since 2015. But, start quarterback Patrick Mahomes was nursing a stomach bug of sorts. “I just started feeling [Saturday night] but I bounced back pretty well in the morning,” Mahomes said via Fox of the Week 8 NFL game. “Just trying to do whatever I can to go out there and play my best football.” Would Kansas have won the game if Mahomes was fully healthy? It’s a good bet, but we’ll never know, and a win is a win.
