Santa's elves are the only one working overtime this holiday season. According to Chew Boom, the Keebler elves are staying pretty busy, too. Keebler has just released two new holiday products: Elf Limited-Edition Keebler Gingerbread Fudge Stripes and Keebler Pretzel Pie Crusts. Both are already available.

The Elf Gingerbread Fudge Stripes scream Christmas with the unmistakable flavors of gingerbread and white fudge. The festive cookies come in four unique designs based on fan-favorite scenes from the beloved holiday film. This is big year for Elf as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. In fact, the Charlotte Symphony is marking the occasion by screening the movie with live orchestral accompaniment on November 24th and 25th at Ovens Auditorium. More about that HERE.

Back to the Keebler elves! For your holiday baking, Keebler has also created a sweet and salty spin on its ready-to-eat pie crusts. Introducing new Keebler Pretzel Pie Crusts. The description says it's perfect for both bake and no-bake dessert recipes. I'd like to try that for a pecan pie.

You can find the Elf Limited-Edition Keebler Gingerbread Fudge Stripes and Keebler Pretzel Pie Crusts in stores and online for a limited time. I got the cookies on Amazon so Mel and I already have those ready to go for a "Nosh or Nasty" video with some other sweet holiday treats. Keep your eye on Facebook!

Let's be real — dessert is the best part about Thanksgiving dinner. So to help you prepare, here are five Thanksgiving cookie recipes worth trying.

Fall Maple Leaf Sugar Cookies

Sugar cookies are basic, but sugar cookies shapes like maple leaves are fantastic and festive. The recipe below is simple, yet the end result is a beautiful Thanksgiving treat.  To make these, you'll need a sugar cookie recipe, a maple leaf cookie cutter, pastry piping bags, toothpicks, and icing in fall colors (red, orange, and yellow).

Pumpkin Pie Cookies

Pumpkin Pie is an essential Thanksgiving dessert.  These cookies won't replace them but will be a good sidekick. To make these, you'll need to have some skills when it comes to icing cookies. We think you'll nail it, though.

Cranberry Shortbread Cookies

Cranberry is great as a side dish, or in a shortbread cookie. This recipe calls for dried cranberries, butter, icing sugar, salt, vanilla extract, flour, cornstarch, and a sweet tooth.

Spiced Pumpkin Cookies

Thanksgiving season is still pumpkin spice season, so these cookies are a must. And these aren't just plain ol' pumpkin cookies; They're pumpkin oatmeal cookies with a maple syrup glaze. They are also perfect for Halloween.

Turkey Leg Cookies

After you finish stuffing your face with turkey at the meal, you can stuff your face with a turkey leg cookie. They are cute, and the tutorial below really breaks down how to make them just perfect.
