North or South Carolina residents can get free Bojangles biscuits thanks to the Gamecocks's big win. Yes Honey! We did say FREE!

The restaurant known for its down-home southern fried chicken and biscuits is offering free Cajun Filet Biscuits now through April 30. The offer is valid only at participating Bojangles locations in the Carolinas. Executives at Bojangles say the free biscuits are part of the restaurant's celebration of the South Carolina Gamecock's recent NCAA women's championship.

The team brought home its third national championship after defeating Iowa State during the NCAA women's basketball championship. And if that celebration wasn't enough, the Gamecocks also left the season winning every game. That's right, they NEVER lost a single game this entire season. They have a 38-0 record for the season. While the team showed pure grit and grime to pull off an undefeated season, a lot of the credit has to go to their coach, too -- Dawn Staley.

She comes to the coaching arena with big wins under her belt, too. Staley has won three Olympic gold medals with Team USA as a player and later as a head coach of another U.S. gold-medal-winning team.

How To Get Free Bojangles

Now back to the free Bojangles biscuits. To claim yours, just go online, add the biscuit to your cart, and use the promo code "Gamecocks" when you checkout. Biscuits are limited to one per customer, with no purchase being necessary to redeem your free biscuit.

Bojangles says offering the free biscuits is their way to show appreciation of the Gamecock's women's basketball team and a way to celebrate with customers, too. We've been celebrating for a few days now, but a little bit more celebration never hurt anybody. And free Bojangles surely never hurt either!

From Alaska and Hawaii to right here in the Carolinas. But, where do you think has the BEST fried chicken in North and South Carolina? Let's take a look at the two spots with the best fried chicken in North and South Carolina and see what it's really hitting on. South Carolina

First off, we're starting in South Carolina. According to this list, Yogi Bear's Honey Fried Chicken in Hartsville, SC is the BEST fried chicken in the state. Now, lets take a trip to the Tar Heel state for some crispy chicken. If you're heading to Chapel Hill, then you may want to visit Mama Dips in Chapel Hill. Home to some down right, Southern home cooking you can enjoy crispy, tasty chicken at Mama Dips. Get fried chicken, fried pork chops, fried chicken livers, and so much more. Their famous fried chicken is cooked classically with not to many ingredients and just the perfect balance of salt, pepper, flour, and love.
