South Carolina Man Blames Buc-ee’s Beaver For Injuries In Lawsuit
I’ve visited the Florence, South Carolina Buc-ee’s more times than I can count. And, I was stunned to learn of a South Carolina man’s complaint in a Buc-ee’s Beaver mascot lawsuit, claiming an inflatable display caused his injuries during a trip to the store.
Details Of The Buc-ee’s Beaver Mascot Lawsuit
According to WBTW, the man allegedly tripped over a rope securing the large inflatable mascot at the Florence store in May of 2022. The man bringing the Buc-ee’s Beaver mascot lawsuit is Richard E. Brown of Kershaw County. And, his claim is that he tripped on the rope while walking on the sidewalk, resulting in injuries to his shoulder.
Brown’s suit claims the store was aware of the possible issues with the rope anchoring the inflatable in place before his incident. Consequently, the store is being sued for negligence in what has to be the first of its kind Buc-ee’s Beaver mascot lawsuit. I’m just guessing.
Of course, a company as massive as Buc-ee’s is going to encounter its fair share of scrutiny and complaints. And, most of the time, the rumblings I hear about Buc-ee’s is folks upset that they don’t accommodate 18-wheelers, or there’s too much traffic surrounding the locations.
But, I haven’t heard of anyone suing for a trip over a rope holding down the beloved Buc-ee’s Beaver mascot. And, in all my visits, even with all the massive crowds stopping in, everything seems to run smoothly, efficiently and safely. However, there’s always a chance something can happen.
So, we’ll keep our eyes open for more news as this story develops concerning the Buc-ee’s Beaver mascot lawsuit. According to WBTW, Buc-ee’s has not publicly addressed the lawsuit yet. And, for more on the original lawsuit filing from Richard Brown, see the full story.
And, Buc-ee’s Florence, I’ll see you soon on my next trip to the beach!
Ranking All 68 of the 2022 NCAA Tournament Teams By Their Mascots
The NCAA Tournament is here, and it’s time to rank the most important part of the tournament: the mascots.
Sure, there’s plenty of basketball analysis to be had this week, as Baylor aims to repeat, while Gonzaga looks for its first championship. But we’re not here for that right now.
We need to take a look at the stuff that matters. Is a Blue Devil more fearsome than a Tiger? Is a Zip more powerful than a Hokie? Wait… what’s a Zip?
So let’s rank all 68 teams in the 2022 NCAA Tournament based on the all-important mascot factors. For the sake of this discussion, this is completely arbitrary. Sometimes it’ll be whether one might win in a fight. Other times it might be because we’re really tired of cat-based teams (we see you Wildcats, Tigers, Cougars, Catamounts, etc.).
And now, on to the important rankings:
