Country music stars Eric Church and Luke Combs pulled in $24 million at their "Concert For Carolina" to help Hurricane Helene victims. The pair took home the Artist Humanitarian Award at Nashville's Country Radio Seminar for their work.

“This was the right thing to do, puttin’ the show on,” said Combs, a native of Asheville, North Carolina. “There was never once a thought that we weren’t gonna do this.”

The benefit concert, held in Charlotte, featured artists like James Taylor and Billy Strings. In just three weeks, their teams turned a simple idea into a massive fundraising show at Bank of America Stadium with thousands showing up to support victims of Hurricane Helene.

Thanks to Church's foundation Chief Cares, 100 new homes will be built in communities hit by the storm. Building will begin in Avery County, where the storm caused the most destruction.

The award, given out by CRB Awards Committee Chair Beverlee Brannigan, marked the first time it was shared between two artists since it started in 1990.

Both artists helped in other ways too. Church gave up his "Darkest Hour" publishing rights to help storm victims, while Combs teamed up with Samaritan's Purse and Manna Food Bank to help get supplies to those in need.

The Country Radio Seminar ran from February 19-21 at Nashville's Omni Hotel. Other stars who've won this award include Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, and Carrie Underwood.
