The Real Housewives franchise is seeing a change. Garcelle Beauvais has officially announced her departure from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after 5 seasons on the show.

The franchise is currently in the middle of airing season 14 and after spending the last 5 seasons with the show, the actress announced she will be departing after this season. She shared the news in an Instagram video to fans of the show.

"Hey guys, so I have some news, I've decided to leave Beverly Hills," said Garcelle. "It's been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it's been a ride."

She further explained some of the reasons for her departure from the infamous franchise. "Nevertheless, one of the reasons why I'm leaving is my family. My boys, their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that. And Jaid is starting a new career, and I want to be a part of that too. And secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting, and I can't tell you anything right now, but you'll know soon."

She hinted to fans that this isn't a goodbye forever and that the door will always be open for Real Housewives. She shared a special thanks with fans of the show.

"The door will always be open, so you never know. I might pop back in sometime. To the fans, I want to say, thank you so much. You guys have cheered me on, supported me and sometimes even fought for me or on my behalf. It means a lot, and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me. It's not goodbye, it's see you later."

Season 14 is currently in the middle of airing and the season finale airs Tuesday, March 25. With the reunion episodes left, this will be fans' last glimpse into the life of Garcelle. For now.
