When Gwen Stefani burst onto the scene with No Doubt, she was viewed as a punk rocker, one that really didn’t have Hollywood fashion sense. 

Once she broke off solo, she found a certain couture conscience about her, and now is hailed as one of the coolest fashion icons of the decade. She certainly takes some chances, but they almost always are rewarding.
