Roku has just dropped the first official trailer for Weird: The Al Yankovic Story and all I can say is...WOW! It's everything I could have hoped to see and more. But, if after watching it, you're a bit confused, you are definitely not alone. It's hard to wrap your head around at first.

The trailer features make-out sessions with Madonna, as well as clips of Weird Al going off the rails in classic rock star fashion. However, Al Yankovic is a very straight-laced guy in real life. The 62-year-old parodist grew up in a religious household and was the valedictorian of his graduating class at Lynnwood High School in California. Despite his fame, Yankovic has held on to his values, abstaining from profanity, alcohol, and drugs. He doesn't even eat meat. Much like Weird Al's music, the film intentionally exaggerates and even fabricates moments in his life for comedic effect.

Weird: The Al Yankovic Story stars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) as Weird Al, Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) as Madonna, and the always hilarious Rainn Wilson (The Office) as Dr. Demento, the radio host who discovered the young Yankovic. The movie premieres on Roku Channel on November 4th. I can't wait! Here's the trailer:
