The trailer (below) for the highly-anticipated sequel to Knives Out dropped this week. It looks like a blast. According to People, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery takes us to Greece, where a fun weekend murder mystery party hosted by a tech billionaire gets all too real.
It has been three years since the first movie, which was a hit with fans and critics alike. Knives Out was nominated for the best original screenplay Oscar, made many critics' "Top Ten" lists for 2019, and grossed over $300-million globally. The sequel is the second of a planned trilogy, with all three movies being directed by Rian Johnson.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery only brings back Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc. The rest of the cast is new, and it includes Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Kate Hudson, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr, Janelle Monáe, Madelyn Cline, and Jessica Henwick. The film will be in theaters for one week only, starting November 23rd. It moves to Netflix on December 23rd.
