All ten of these are the epitome of luxury and relaxation. The list was based on reader votes in the publication's World's Best Awards. The hotels were rated on facilities, location, service, food, and overall value. South Carolina has miles of coastline so it's no surprise that the vast majority of hotels included are waterfront. Nine of ten are located on the water to be exact.
Hilton Head was the leader with five of the ten hotels located on the island. Other locations represented include Kiawah and Bluffton. Whether you are traveling with the family or just a relaxing adults-only getaway you'll be sure to enjoy these resorts. They feature all the amenities you could hope for with golf, spas, beaches, restaurants, and more. All of these reasons keep visitors coming back year after year to enjoy the South Carolina Lowcountry.
